AMI 2004 - Tuning World

The organiser was very proud about a 44% increase of the AMI's tuning section. But there also were visitors slightly disappointed about it. One reason may have been the fact that only non-brand linked companies were presented at the 'Tuning World' named part of the show. The others displayed their cars directly beside the respective car makers' stands. Though this is a good solution, it made this sector a little less clearly arranged.

Apart from Benz refiner Brabus, also its sister division Star Tech - which specialises in Chrysler and Dodge tuning - was displayed alongside the DaimlerChrysler boot. As well as Lorinser that exhibited three Mercedes plus its first Smart, a racy Roadster. Tuned Opel cars were shown at Steinmetz and MS Design from Austria. Latter one also displayed two VW's. Em Design and Elia, the German Renault specialists, were also present next to the manufacturer their base products come from.

Chip reprogrammers, wheel makers and importers just as tuning part manufacturers exhibited their range in the 'Tuning World' area. The diplayed cars of regional custom part retailers such as Loony Tunes and DE Motorsport not only were amazing but also mirrored the latest tides very. Good enough that we are going to make an item about the recent trends in this sector using the photos we shot here.
