L o t u s
are presumingly going to use a BMW V8 engine on their upcoming second model line. It will possibly get its predecessor's designation: Esprit. In any event it will bear a name beginning with an E, since it's a tradition of the house - 22nd July * * * *

A u d i
plan a light weight version of the TT Coupe. We don't know whether this one will be exclusive to the TT RS, or an extra for it, or an option for some TT models. At any rate the TT Roadster is likely to be excluded from this diet - 22nd July * * *

M o r g a n
are going to put the AeroMax Coupe concept into production. It will be made in a small series of just 100 cars. The 165,000 Euro vehicle will be supplied on a first come first served basis. So you want one of the BMW V8 powerd cars, here is the e-mail address of the gentleman who takes your order: > Click..! - 15th July * * * * *

will carry on the recent design language. Regarding insiders, the forthcoming smaller model are also going to appear as massive as a safe. But it will get conventional doors, in contrast to the Phantom that has ones in suicide-style in the back - 15th July * * * *

M a s e r a t i
consider a third model line, as the head of the company, Mr. Kalbfell recently suggested. Besides a vehicle of the Boxster/Cayman class, the Italians also consider a sporty SUV to compete against the BMW X5 and the Cayenne from Porsche 11th JUly * * *

are gonna direct attention to their 5-series in next year's spring. Not only Munich will introduce the M5 version of the wagon model at the time, all models of the line will undergo a make over for fresher looks - 11th July * * *

A u d i
will offer the evo models of the TT with quattro drive only. For the TT S, the engine specialists are going to elicit some additional horses of the Golf GTI motor. 250 to 280hp will be the outcome of the performance upgrade - 11th July * * * *

M e r c e d e s
are going to show a four-door convertible concept car on the S-class' basis on next year's Detroit Motor Show. And, Stuttgart don't rule out putting a thing like that into production. Maybe it would be better to attach a Maybach badge to it - 4th July * * * *

As we recently asked Brabus owner Bodo Buschmann in our interview what the CLS Rocket's top speed is, he just said: 'wait and see'. Said and done we now read in a press release that it is 362.4kph, achieved at the high speed circuit at Nardo. This is of course world record for 4-door sedans. Up to this day the record was held by the Brabus' E-class with the same 730hp motor.

M a y b a c h
contemplate a smaller model since it seems safe that BMW are going to bring out a baby Rolls Royce. The rival from DC could be powered by V8 and V12 engines from the S-class. This one is also likely to be the basis for the entry Maybach - 4th July * * * *

plans the use of 8-cylinder engines, including a charged one, on the new Panamera sports sedan. Later, an entry model could be powered by a motor of two pots less and also the Carrera GT's V10 is under consideration to take place in the engine bay * * * *

B M W
are currently arguing about an M7 since there are many inquiries in this regard from the USA. Basically Munich did not want to launch such a car as they deem a luxury saloon too big to be a decent evo sports sedan * * * *

R o l l s    R o y c e
will probably use the understructure of the next Seven for their smaller model. The Bimmer is scheduled for 2008 whereas its more expensive brother from the United Kingdom will be on sale one or two years later * * * *
