Rieger Tuning clearly represents
the do-it-yourself tuning sector. The company from Eggenfelden,
Free State of Bavaria, is known for very reasonable aerodynamics parts and the annual catalogue
of the company belongs to the most important reference works of that business in Germany. At this
year's issue, a remarkable Audi A3 Sportback had suggested itself to be introduced at this place.
Fitted with wheels measuring 20inch in diameter, the vehicle attracts attention - not only because
of its red paint. In contrast to the American taste, that size is said to be a tad too big here, actually. But
the Rieger creation proves the opposite. The A3 appears flashy but harmonious in its proportions, also
to the native point of view. No doubt, this chiefly is a result of the body kit that adds optical mass
to the car body - as a counter balance to the very large Barracuda Nevada wheels.
