A remedy could be a rear wing to add some visual mass to the tail. However, the
thing have to have a three-piece layout to make sure opening the trunk lid
remains possible. Do you really associate the cheapest Porsche model with our
draft!? When it's a 986, with the front lamps of the previous 911, people
might deem it a special edition of it.
And with the individual headlights of the 987, the hardtop-Boxster appears
more like a show car, an extra expensive conversion, rather than Porsche's
entry model with just a hardtop and a spoiler. Decep-
tively, we name the
concept car Cayarga: A cross of the terms Cayman and Targa.
Although the concept rather is, as aforementioned, a Boxster with a two-piece
hardtop, and not a Cayman Targa. The side profile, how-
ever, does really not
look like that of Porsche's smallest coupe. On the other hand, it would be
pretty easy to make it looking like this.
Putting a quarter windows in Cayman-style to the
hardtop would make it very much appearing like one. That is, of course, a
question of taste. We provide both versions here, but prefer the variant
with an indivi-
dual window line. Finally it is intended to be a car for
individualists! Some more backgrounds come > here..!
