Dune Project by Delta4x4 on the Basis of the Grand Cherokee
There are just a few American cars accepted by the Germans. Am- ongst them are Jeep vehicles.
The models have got personality and the brand is an authentic one. The Chrysler division is
almost premium here. Finally these are good preconditions for tuning offers.
The offroad car specialist of Delta 4x4 present tuning solutions for the Grand Cherokee
at the 2007 Essen Motor Show by means of the 'Dune' Project. The Bavarians rise the ground
clearance of the Jeep by 100mm and its performance to 499hp.
For this, they replace the exhaust system including manifold and catalyst, change the engine
control and modify air feed. Thanks to the extra power of 74hp, the American runs in less
than 6 seconds to 100kph, as Delta 4x4 claim. Larger wheels can also be ordered. Also they
mighty rims measuring 23x11inch and 305mm wide tyres turn the dessert racer into a massive
appearance.
Fender extensions with main beam headlights cover the big wheels. The front spoiler is
specially designed for an integrated winch by Warn. Literally on top of this, there is a
steel roof rack system and a lighting system to brighten up the dessert at night or
making impression in urban jungles.
