Oettinger is soon to bring out a body-kit for the Golf MkV. But the competitors of
the noted Volkswagen specialists have already been offering their kits for the compact
best-seller from Wolfsburg for many months
Oettinger say they waited till all versions of the Golf line are out
- including the GT, the GTI, the R32 as well as some powerful diesel versions.
That way all aspects of mounting, engine and braking system cooling can be
taken into account which enables designing parts that fit all versions.
Yes, this seems comprehensible. However Oettinger also announced some smaller
aerodynamics parts for the lower edges of the body, and they won't fit each
model because there are different bumpers.
Oettinger already show a first drawing of
the big conversion to
tease those who consider making their compact VeeDub a real looker. And this
could work perfectly well with Oettinger's parts as the sketch suggests.
