Those who deem the perfectionist approach of German engineering too clinical and too
boring for a fun-to-drive open two-seater may fancy buying Alfa Romeo's Spider. The
sad thing with the car is that some of its flaws could make one yearning for the
roadsters of the Teutonic premium car makers.

The Alfa Spider may look good, but too long overhangs spoil looks and the thing is pretty
heavy and thus, less agile and very thirsty. Novitec does now offer a conversion that
immediately make one forgetting any of the car's failings. Although there are just a few
changes, the effect is astonishing.
Novitec have replaced the front bumper by their own one, modified the rear diffusor, lowered
the car body and added on a set of larger wheels. Also a stainless steal rear-silencer with
2x2 end tips has been mounted to the Italian convertible. 115X85mm measure the oval endings
of the exhaust system. Diameter of the wheels is 20inch, width is 8.5.
