	With the SL 63 'Black Series', AMG have created an all-out top-of-the range model which is not about revenues but high- lighting their skills in making extraordinary sporting vehicles. The outcome is, without any doubt, a super car! Not only it performs 670hp, the tuners of the Mercedes works have also reduced the former luxury roadster's weight by turning it into a coupe - meaning they have detached the roof mechanism - and replacing many parts by ones made from carbon, magnesium or aluminium. Despite of the diet (-250kg), the racer still weighs in at almost 1,900kg! The tweaked 6.0 litre turbo-charged 12-cylinder motor might push it in outstanding 3.9 seconds to 100kph from a standstill however, there are some flat, purebred super cars that are faster than the AMG flagship, especially on the race track! But there is one record the things has achieved: It's definitely the king of the evo cars! No other evolution of a production model is that fast. And, as typical of an AMG Mercedes, it is agile yet very comfortable, precise and easy to drive. 350 units at around 300,000 Euros will be produced to please wealthy collectors and petrol heads.
