	At Mercedes, the letter F stands for the German word Forschung, what means: Research. Usual future technologies are showcased with the F cars. Such research vehicles hint to what is currently in the pipeline and what the engineers are experimenting with. Besides eco-friendly driving technologies, the F800 comes with a pretty futuristic design. And indeed, this is the future. Stuttgart claims the thing is a foretaste on the next C-class, coming out late 2013 or early 2014. However, there are some details which will remain exclusive to the show car.
