Whilst Alpina makes the fine and noble BMWs, AC Schnitzer rather interprets the German make's image a different way. Dynamic, sporting and uncompromising are attributes that circumscribe the character of the Aachen-based tuner's vehicles. And, that makes it especially interesting to see how BMW's luxury saloon looks when the Schnitzer girls and boys construe its shape and translate it according to their own perception.

A Perfect Translation

Taking up the controversial design language of BMW designer Chris Bangle they have accented the excessive seeming form and turned it accomplishedly into a harmonious but dynamic appearance that way. Whilst the front spoiler insert, the rear bumper and the side skirts emphasise the unusual running lines that characterise the new 7-series' design, particularly the trunk lid spoiler will possibly enthuse those who intend to mitigate one of the most criticised details: the sculptural boot lid.
