Though it seems at first sight that there is not all too much which has changed,
the detailed
analysis shows interesting things. For instance that the number of flashy rear
and headlights have significantly risen. Especially clear glass and crystal - look
rear lights will presumably decorate the shiny attention getters of tomorrow.
And, the new designs are more extraordinary and optically less close to the
original lamps.
Notably the assortment for the most popular tuning cars here has reached
impressive dimensions. Together with the trend styles of yesterday, such as
yellow, green or blue tinted rear lights, the offers' number has reached an
amazing rate. The D&W Katalog, as an example, has listed 8 individual rear
light designs by several manufacturers for the Golf Mark I, 18 for the Mk II,
31 for the 3rd generation and 13 for the recent model of Germany's bestseller.
But also the
variety for less frequently individualised vehicles has increased. Even for
1980's cars are several rear lights in red, black and silver available - such
as for the Volvo 760, the Mercedes W201 [ 190E ], W124 [ E-class] and W126
[ S-class incl. Coupe ]
