Auto enthusiasts know the Essen motor show and it possibly is the only thing associated with this
German town of the state of Nordrhein Westfalen. Now, a new name from there is coming up, and it's
one that auto enthusiasts should keep in mind. The Essen-based supposed hobby auto designer Stefan
Schulze already leaves his first marks on this year's IAA in the shape of the 2nd Peugeot design
competition-winning concept car 4002 displayed at the French carmaker's stand. And, this breathtaking
creation is just his first automotive design. Shortly after, he capped it all by winning the 2003
design contest arranged by the motor industry supplier CSI. The Hornet called contribution convinced
this jury as well as that of the Peugeot contest before.
Although this fellow actually specialises in 3D graphic design and product visualising - and not
in automotive design! He says designing vehicles is his hobby and he understands himself as an
amateur, a kind of understatement his cars pleasantly lack. His actual profession is visualising
ideas, and he doubtlessly is an expert in using that as a tool to present his creations an impressive
way. Nonetheless, all that would be nothing without those matching details of his brilliantly conceived
drafts. Besides Stefan Schulze's prize-winning concept cars, we also present some more of his creations.
